  • Traditional Animation – In this type of animation, the animator can draw every single frame by hand to create an animated scene. An animator draws the characters, layout & background on paper. Traditional animation also known as cell animation. Due to its complexity & time consuming process, this animation rarely used now-a-days. With today’s technology, this traditional animation technique of using cells to color animation drawings is outdated.
  • 2D Animation – 2D Animation means vector-based animations similar to the one which is used in Flash. Vector-based animation gives the artist the option to create rigs for the characters & move single body parts at a time rather than constantly redrawing the characters. It is true to say that 2D animation is now an increasingly accessible & also a popular choice for artists. It also gives the flexibility to the beginners because they don’t have to rely on drawing skills.
  • 3D Animation – 3D Animation means it is the process of creating 3-dimensional moving images in a digital environment. It is currently the most commonly used form of animations. By using 3D animation, the animated objects can be rotated & moved in the same way as real objects.
  • Motion Graphics – Motion graphics are commonly used for things like animated logos, explainer videos & television promotions. Advertisements are heavily depend on motion graphics & also they give plenty of career opportunities. This art form focuses on the ability to move graphic elements, shapes & text.
  • Stop Motion – It is true to say that stop motion is very similar to traditional animation. It is an animation that is captured one frame at time, with physical objects that are moved between frames.
